Celebrate the beginning of Summer with a drum circle in Clifford Park.
The Drum Circle will start at 5:30 PM
Follow signs on the black trail to the drum circle, the location is a short walk to where the black trail splits and just below the old granite steps: bring a chair and your drum. (there will be extra drums for those that do not own a drum but please leave a message here so we know we have enough for everyone)
Have you ever wanted to explore Biddeford’s Clifford Park? Already know Clifford Park but need an experienced guide to show you off the ‘main’ trail??
Experience and get to know this urban gem that contains 140 acres of woodland, streams and wildlife, and over twenty-two miles of trails, a third of which are marked. Now the opportunity is available to you!
Friends of Clifford Park will sponsor four Welcome Walks this season. Each walk, held on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 8:30 -9:30 am, will be guided by Friends who are familiar with the trails, flora, and fauna of Clifford. Expect to see loads of birds, with a chance to view many other wild inhabitants of the forest such as deer, fox, opossum , and maybe even a porcupine or two.
The next walk will be Saturday, June 16th at 8:30. Meet at the Kiosk, just beyond the Pool St. parking area. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water for a moderate one hour walk. In the event of inclement weather the Walks will be held on Sunday, the next day at the same time.
